OfficeAgent Refund Policy
Effective date: October 14, 2026
Money paid for an OfficeAgent subscription is not given back, except in the three situations listed in section 2. The homepage demo lets you watch the approval queue handle sample office tasks before you spend anything, and plan settings let you switch off renewal on your own at any time.
1. The subscription in brief
Assistant, Office and Enterprise are billed monthly or yearly in advance. Each one opens the agent, the approval queue, the daily digest and the monthly action allowance described on the pricing page for the length of the billing period. We price time with the agent, not individual drafts, meetings or filed documents, so the whole allowance sits ready from day one, and the charge is the same whether your team signs off on two hundred actions or on none.
Subscribing tells us to start the agent for your office immediately. If a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right would otherwise exist, you accept that it lapses once the service has begun at your request.
2. Three narrow exceptions
- Double billing. Our own billing error collected payment twice for one period.
- A card used by someone else. Somebody paid for OfficeAgent with your card, you never agreed to it, it reaches us no more than 14 days after the charge, and both the account history and the payment trail bear that out. Your word on its own is not enough, and we can ask for the reference of the fraud report you filed with your bank.
- No service at all. A fault we confirm on our side left OfficeAgent completely unusable for a continuous period, you raised it while it was ongoing, and we could not restore it. A slow draft, one integration being down, or trouble with your own devices, network or linked accounts falls outside this.
A refund under this section never exceeds the price of the period it concerns, is paid back only to the card that was billed, and settles the matter entirely. It does not create a right to any later refund.
3. Situations that are not refunded
- The office decided it does not want an assistant after all, or the person who pushed for it moved on.
- Mailboxes and calendars were linked but hardly any tasks were approved, or setup was never completed.
- A renewal cleared, including one that only went through after an earlier decline.
- Someone assumed a one off purchase, although pricing, checkout, the receipt and plan settings all describe an automatic renewal.
- Renewal was not switched off in time, or was switched off the day after it ran.
- A draft did not match your house style. Nothing is sent without human approval, so an unsuitable draft is simply rejected.
- Your own mailbox, calendar, drive or CRM was disconnected, throttled, suspended or given the wrong permissions.
- An integration or feature you hoped for is not on the pricing page, or works differently from what you pictured.
- The wrong tier, the wrong billing term, or more seats than the office needed.
- Days remaining after cancellation. They stay usable until the period ends and are never converted to money.
- Anything done by a colleague or another person you let into the account.
4. Stopping renewal
Without action from you, each plan rolls over into the next period. The account owner can turn that off in plan settings with a single click, without calls or retention offers. From then on nothing renews, the agent keeps working until the paid period closes, and turning off renewal is not treated as a refund request.
When a fresh period starts, the agent stays on for it and the fee becomes payable right then. A declined card leaves that fee outstanding, and our payment operator retries it over the next few days. Every retry concerns that single open invoice, not an additional charge. Cancelling while the invoice is still open stops future periods only, the current period remains payable, and once collected it is not refunded. To avoid being billed again, turn renewal off before the date shown in plan settings.
5. Requests and bank disputes
Send your request to [email protected] from the email address that owns the account, within 14 days of the charge, naming the charge date, the amount and the exception from section 2 that you believe applies. Requests sent later, or through any other channel, are not considered. We handle them in the order received without a fixed reply time, and a refusal is final.
Talk to us before talking to your bank. A chargeback filed with no message to us beforehand violates our Terms of Service, the account is permanently closed, and we hand the records from section 6 to your card issuer.
6. Evidence we hold
By registering, you agree to our Terms of Service, of which this policy forms part, and to our Privacy Policy. The checkout names the tier, the amount, the billing term and the automatic renewal before you pay, and those same details appear again in the receipt email and in plan settings.
Per subscription, we retain the moment of purchase, the tier and amount that were displayed, your agreement to the terms, our emails to you, and a timeline of account events such as sign-ins, linked accounts, drafts prepared and tasks approved or rejected, each with its technical metadata. The payment operator separately logs each charge with the card's issuing country, the payment's origin and whether 3D Secure verification was passed. We rely on these sources when someone says a charge was not authorised.
7. Earlier subscriptions
Anything bought before October 14, 2026 stays under the refund terms published on the day of that purchase.
