What can an AI assistant do? Every question, answered
An AI office assistant schedules meetings, drafts email, summarizes meetings, files documents, enters data and chases follow-ups. Officeagent does all of it with human approval on every send. Here is everything offices ask before they switch.
What it does
What can an AI assistant do?
A modern AI office assistant can schedule meetings, draft and send routine email, summarize meetings into action items, keep documents named and filed, enter data from receipts and forms into spreadsheets or a CRM, and chase follow-ups until they close. Officeagent does all of this end to end, with one rule: it drafts, you approve, it executes. The full capability list is on the office automation software page.
How is Officeagent different from ChatGPT or Copilot?
A chat box answers when you ask. An agent notices the work and does it. Officeagent connects to your calendar, inbox, drive and CRM, finds what is due (replies owed, meetings to book, threads going stale), drafts the work, and executes after your approval. You never copy-paste anything anywhere. The workflow is on the AI admin assistant page.
Which tools does it connect to?
Gmail and Google Workspace, Google Calendar, Outlook and Microsoft 365, Slack, Google Drive, and HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce for CRM. Each connection is OAuth, takes about two minutes, and uses read and draft scopes only. Details per tool are on the integrations pages.
Do I need to train it or set up rules?
No setup projects and no rule-building. Officeagent learns your tone from email you have already sent and your conventions from how your drive and calendar are organized. Most offices see useful drafts on day one and near-final drafts inside two weeks.
Can it really handle a whole office, not just one person?
Yes. The Office plan covers up to 10 teammates with a shared office inbox, a shared task ledger and per-person approval queues. Solo founders start on Assistant and upgrade when they hire. See AI assistant for business for the multi-seat setup.
Approval, accuracy and limits
Will it ever send anything without me?
Never. Every outgoing email, calendar invite, file change and CRM update waits in your approval queue, and the audit log records who approved what and when. Human approval is the core design decision of the product, not a toggle someone can forget.
How accurate are the drafts?
Across customers, about 70 percent of routine drafts are approved without a single edit. The rest take a line or two of tweaking, which is still faster than writing from scratch. Anything the agent is unsure about is flagged low-confidence for a human, not guessed at.
Is this legal or financial advice?
No. Officeagent assists with and drafts routine office work. It is not a lawyer, an accountant or a licensed adviser, and its output is not professional advice. For contracts, tax and anything regulated, it drafts the admin around the work and leaves the judgment to your professionals.
What happens when it makes a mistake?
Because nothing goes out without approval, a bad draft costs you one click to decline, not an apology to a client. Declines are logged and the agent learns from your correction. The daily digest also lists everything done, so nothing happens silently.
Security and data
Is my data safe?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold, and never used to train models for other customers. Access uses OAuth scopes you can revoke at any time from your Google or Microsoft admin panel. Enterprise adds SSO/SAML, role-based approvals, an audit log and a DPA. The plain-English detail is in the privacy policy.
Who at Officeagent can see my email?
Nobody, in the normal course of business. Processing is automated; human access requires your explicit consent on a support ticket and is logged. We publish this policy because we would want to read it too.
Can I control what the agent is allowed to touch?
Yes. Connections are per-tool, so you can give it calendar and email but not the drive, or the shared inbox but not personal ones. Enterprise adds role-based approvals so, for example, only the office manager can approve outgoing invoices.
Plans and billing
How much does it cost?
Assistant is $149/mo for one inbox and calendar. Office, the most popular plan, is $399/mo for the whole office, up to 10 teammates. Enterprise starts at $1,500/mo with SSO, an audit log and an SLA. Yearly billing takes about 20 percent off. Full limits are on the AI assistant pricing page.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from your plan settings, no phone call and no retention script. There is also a 14-day money-back guarantee on every plan, so the first two weeks are effectively risk-free.
Is there a free plan?
No. Officeagent replaces real payroll hours, so it is priced like the work it does. You can try the live product surface right now: run a task in the demo on the AI office assistant homepage and judge the drafts yourself before you pay.
Still routing a question?
Ask a human: the contact page reaches a person who answers within one business day. Or see the agent work first: the demo on the AI office assistant homepage runs a real task in about ten seconds.
