Fyxer costs $30 per seat per month on Starter and $50 on Professional, billed monthly. Annual billing takes 25 percent off, landing at $22.50 and $37.50 per seat per month, charged upfront for the full year. Enterprise is quoted individually and starts at 50 users. Read off fyxer.com on September 10, 2026.
Those four numbers are the easy part, and every pricing article on this query prints them. The harder question is what you will actually be charged, and there the vendor's own documentation is more useful than any review. Fyxer bills plan price multiplied by active seats, invited people count as seats, and Fyxer names the specific workspace setting that creates seats you did not intend to buy. Its help centre also states that the 7 day trial converts to a paid plan automatically and that Fyxer does not send a reminder, advising you to set your own.
This page covers what each tier includes, how seats are counted, what the trial actually does on day eight, whether the notetaker costs extra, and the specific team sizes where Fyxer is the cheap answer and where it stops being one.
How much does Fyxer AI cost per month?
Three tiers, priced per seat, verified at the vendor on September 10, 2026.
| Plan | Per seat, monthly | Per seat, annual | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $30 | $22.50 | One inbox and one calendar. Inbox organisation, draft replies in your tone, meeting notetaker, chat support |
| Professional | $50 | $37.50 | Multiple inboxes and calendars, cross-team scheduling, Fyxer Chat, HubSpot integration, file uploads for training, specialist onboarding |
| Enterprise | Bespoke | Bespoke | 50 user minimum. SSO and SCIM, customised security controls, dedicated account manager, customised onboarding |
Annual is charged upfront for the whole year rather than spread monthly, so the 25 percent saving comes with a cash-flow decision attached. Ten Professional seats annually is $4,500 in one payment. That is not unusual for this category, but it does mean the discount is only a discount if you are confident about the tool at month two, and seven days is a short window in which to become confident about software that has to learn your writing voice from your sent mail.
What is the real entry price, $30 or $50?
For a lot of buyers it is $50, and this is the single most misquoted thing about Fyxer pricing. Starter connects one inbox and one calendar. Multiple inboxes sit on Professional.
Count your own mailboxes honestly before you budget. A founder with a personal address and a shared hello@ has two. An agency lead covering a client alias has two. A partner who absorbed a departed colleague's mailbox has two. A bookkeeper working a firm address and a client-facing one has two. In each of those cases the plan that does the job is Professional at $50 per seat per month, or $37.50 annually, and the $30 headline never applied.
The same applies to the scheduling feature people often buy Fyxer for. Cross-team scheduling, the part that coordinates times across several colleagues rather than just your own calendar, is a Professional feature. If your reason for looking at Fyxer is that arranging internal meetings eats your week, price Professional and ignore the entry tier entirely.
How does Fyxer per-seat billing work?
Fyxer's billing documentation is unusually plain about this, and it is worth reading before you invite anyone. Total cost is the plan price multiplied by the number of active seats. A seat is one active user in your organisation. Billing is managed at the organisation level with one payment method covering all seats, so there is no arrangement where individuals expense their own.
Invited team members count as seats. That is the sentence to sit with. A seat is created by the invitation being taken up, not by the person deciding they like the product, so an evaluation where you add four colleagues to see what they think is an evaluation that adds four seats to the invoice.
Then there is the setting. Fyxer's own help material identifies the most common cause of unexpected charges as a workspace option called "Automatically add users for this domain", which enrolls anyone signing up with your company email address. In a 40 person company where somebody posts a link in a team channel, that option turns interest into billing without anyone approving a purchase. It is documented, it is not deceptive, and it is also not on the pricing page, which is why people meet it on a card statement rather than in a decision.
If per-seat creep across a stack of tools is a recurring pattern rather than a one-off, the structural fix is not vendor by vendor. It is getting an alert the moment an unexpected charge lands instead of finding it in a month-end reconciliation, because by then the renewal has usually already happened.
What happens when the Fyxer trial ends?
Every plan starts with a 7 day free trial. Fyxer's help centre states that at the end of the trial your account automatically converts to a paid plan unless you cancel, that your account upgrades to the plan you selected at signup, and that billing starts automatically based on your tier, seat count and billing cycle.
On reminders it is refreshingly direct rather than reassuring: your trial status is visible in Dashboard, then Settings, then Billing, and the guidance is to "Set your own reminder to avoid surprises." Read that as written. Fyxer is telling you it will not prompt you.
Two practical consequences. First, put a calendar block on day six of the trial, before the seats and the charge both become real. Second, the seat count that exists when the trial ends is the seat count on the first invoice, so run your evaluation on your own mailbox for most of the week and only add colleagues if you have already decided to buy. Doing it the other way round, adding the team on day two to gather opinions, is how a $30 trial becomes a several hundred dollar first month.
Is Fyxer AI free?
No. There is no permanently free plan and no free tier of any kind. The 7 day trial is the whole of the free path, and it requires a payment method and converts automatically.
That is worth stating plainly because the category around it is confusing. Several tools in this space do have free tiers, and if free is genuinely your constraint the honest answer is not a Fyxer workaround. Check what you already pay for first: Google Workspace Business plans include Gemini in Gmail at no additional cost, and if you are on Microsoft 365 you can price Copilot at $18 per user per month annually rather than adding a third subscription. A meaningful number of teams buy an AI email tool for something their existing licence already does.
Does the Fyxer notetaker cost extra?
No, and this is one of the genuinely good parts of the pricing. The meeting notetaker is included on Starter, so there is no separate notetaker licence and no per-meeting or per-minute charge published anywhere on the pricing page. At $30 per seat you get inbox sorting, drafting and a meeting notetaker that joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, records, transcribes and produces a structured summary with decisions and action items.
Compare that with buying the pieces separately and the bundle looks strong: a standalone notetaker subscription plus an AI email tool will usually cost more than $30 a seat between them. There is one documented ceiling to know about. Fyxer's documentation states that the notetaker records up to two hours per meeting and anything beyond that is not captured. For ordinary calls that is irrelevant. For all-day workshops, board meetings, training sessions or long depositions it is a hard limit, and it is the sort of thing you discover after the meeting you needed it for.
What does Fyxer Enterprise cost?
Bespoke, and the number is not the important part. Enterprise starts at 50 users. Single sign-on, SCIM provisioning, customised security controls, a dedicated account manager and customised onboarding all live on that tier.
The consequence catches out exactly the companies that are otherwise the best fit. A 25 person professional services firm with an IT policy requiring SSO cannot buy the configuration it needs at any price on the self-serve tiers, because the tier that carries SSO has a floor twice its headcount. If SSO or SCIM is a requirement rather than a preference, establish that on the first call. It is an architectural gate, not a negotiating position, and no amount of budget moves it.
Is Fyxer worth $30 a seat?
For one person handling heavy email on a single mailbox, yes, comfortably. The drafting is the reason people stay: reviewers consistently describe replies that are close enough to become an edit rather than a composition, and the included notetaker removes a second subscription. At $30 a month, one recovered hour pays for it several times over, and most heavy email users recover more than one.
It gets less obviously worth it as the shape of your problem changes. Two mailboxes make it $50. Five colleagues make it $150 to $250 a month. And per-seat economics mean the bill grows exactly in step with the team, while the thing you bought stays the same size: a better inbox.
The honest test is what is actually on your desk at 6pm. If it is unread mail, Fyxer removes it. If it is the work the mail committed you to, the documents to find and send, the file to put somewhere the team will locate it in March, the client who never came back about the estimate, then a faster inbox changes how quickly you read the pile without changing the pile. Our full Fyxer AI review works through that split in detail, and the email assistant shortlist compares the specialists against each other rather than against us.
How much does Fyxer cost compared with the alternatives?
Prices below were each read at the vendor, on the dates noted in the linked pages.
| Tool | Entry price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Fyxer | $30 per seat/mo, $22.50 annually | Inbox sorting, drafting and a meeting notetaker on Gmail and Outlook |
| Superhuman Mail | $25 per member/mo billed annually, $33 for the AI tier | Keyboard-first email client. The AI features sit on Business |
| Shortwave | $30 per seat/mo | AI-native email client. Gmail and Google Workspace only |
| Microsoft 365 Copilot | $18 per user/mo annually | Add-on to a qualifying Microsoft 365 Business licence you already hold |
| Lindy | $29.99 per user/mo | Agent builder metered in credits. A project rather than a purchase |
Two of those comparisons carry a constraint that decides them before price does. Shortwave connects to Gmail and Google Workspace only, so Microsoft 365 shops are out regardless of budget, where Fyxer supports both mailboxes. And Superhuman keeps its Auto Drafts and Ask AI on the upper tier, so the realistic figure to compare against Fyxer's $30 is $33 rather than the advertised $25.
How do you cancel Fyxer?
In the product: Dashboard, then Settings, then Billing, then Cancel subscription. Fyxer states that once cancelled you will not be charged, which is the behaviour you want during a trial. If a charge has already landed unexpectedly, Fyxer directs you to email support with your account email and the charge date, and says the request will be reviewed against its refund policy. That is a policy-dependent outcome rather than a guarantee, so the reliable move is cancelling before day seven rather than arguing after day eight.
Questions worth asking before you commit
- How many mailboxes do I genuinely need connected, and does that put me on Starter or Professional?
- Is "Automatically add users for this domain" switched on in our workspace, and who is allowed to switch it on?
- Who is invited during the trial, and can that wait until after we have decided?
- What is the reminder mechanism on day six, given that Fyxer states it will not send one?
- Do any of our recurring meetings run past the two hour notetaker ceiling?
- Does our security policy require SSO, and do we have the 50 seats that tier needs?
- Is our CRM HubSpot, and if not, what happens to the CRM writeback we assumed we were buying?
- On annual billing, are we comfortable paying twelve months upfront after a seven day evaluation?
The seat question is the one to answer in writing before anyone signs up. Every other line item on a Fyxer invoice is predictable, and seats are the only variable that moves on its own.
