What does Fyxer AI do?

Five things, and they are tightly scoped, which is a compliment rather than a criticism. Fyxer organises the inbox by sorting mail into fixed categories so the messages that need you surface first. It writes draft replies in your tone, learned from how you actually write, and leaves them for you to review. It runs a meeting notetaker that joins the call and produces a recording, a full transcript and a structured summary with decisions and action items. It proposes meeting times and sends the invite. And it answers questions across your mail and meetings through a chat interface, which Fyxer puts on the Professional tier.

Platform coverage is broad and this is one of its genuine strengths. Mail and calendar work with both Gmail and Outlook, so there is no Google-only trap of the kind that eliminates Shortwave for Microsoft shops. The notetaker joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, which covers essentially every US business video platform. It posts into Slack and Microsoft Teams. HubSpot is the CRM integration, and as far as we can tell from the vendor material it is the only named one, so a Salesforce or Pipedrive shop should ask before assuming.

Two documented limits worth knowing before you buy on the notetaker. Fyxer's documentation states that the notetaker records up to two hours per meeting and anything beyond that is not captured, which matters for all-day workshops, board sessions and training. And the notetaker joins the call as a visible participant, with Fyxer stating that participants are automatically notified before it joins. What Fyxer does not do is anything downstream of the message. It will draft the reply that promises a document. It will not find the current version of that document, attach it, file the signed copy back where it belongs, or remember on Thursday that the client never returned it. That boundary is the whole reason both products can exist.

What Fyxer AI costs at your actual seat count

Read off fyxer.com on September 10, 2026. Starter is $30 per seat per month, Professional is $50, and annual billing takes 25 percent off both, landing at $22.50 and $37.50 per seat per month, charged upfront for the full year. Enterprise is quoted individually.

The Enterprise term that surprises mid-sized companies is the seat minimum: Enterprise starts at 50 users. Single sign-on, SCIM provisioning, a dedicated account manager and customised security controls all live there. So a 25 person professional services firm whose IT policy requires SSO cannot buy the configuration it needs at any price on the self-serve tiers. That is worth establishing on the first call rather than the fourth, because it is a hard architectural gate rather than a negotiation.

Run the arithmetic for a realistic team before you compare anything. Six people, two of whom need a second mailbox, is four Starter seats and two Professional seats: $220 a month billed monthly, or $165 billed annually and paid in one $1,980 invoice. Ten people on Professional annually is $4,500 up front. Those are the numbers to hold next to alternatives, not the $30 on the pricing page. For reference on our side, Officeagent is $149 a month for a single operator ($119 billed annually) and $399 a month flat for the Office plan covering up to ten teammates ($319 annually). Be clear about what that comparison says: for one person who only wants email and meeting notes, Fyxer is dramatically cheaper and we are not the rational purchase. The flat price starts making sense somewhere around seat five or six, and only if you also want the document, spreadsheet and follow-up work covered.

Is Fyxer AI safe, and is it secure?

Fyxer's security page states that it adheres to SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA, and displays a CASA Tier 2 badge. It states plainly that your data is never used to train third-party models such as OpenAI's, and that Fyxer only processes your email and meetings to operate the product. Two behavioural commitments are on the same page and matter more day to day than any badge: "Fyxer will never send an email on your behalf" and "Every email requires your review before it goes anywhere." Meeting participants are notified automatically before the notetaker joins.

That approval posture deserves a direct acknowledgement from us, because it is the thing we normally lead with. Officeagent holds every outgoing action for one-click human approval, and so does Fyxer. On this specific question the two products are the same, and any comparison telling you otherwise is selling. If autonomous sending is your worry, neither of these is the product you are worried about.

Two cautions on the compliance list rather than on the claim. Adherence stated on a marketing page is not the same as a report you can read, so if your security review needs the SOC 2 Type 2 report or an ISO certificate, request the document rather than citing the page. And HIPAA is a contract, not a checkbox: if you handle protected health information, ask specifically for a signed business associate agreement and get the answer in writing, including which plan it requires. "Fyxer ai baa" is a real search people run, which tells you how often that question goes unanswered.

What Fyxer does better than we do

It is deeper on email itself, and that is not a small thing when email is the fire. Fyxer's drafting is trained on how you write, and the company leans hard on having studied executive assistant work rather than on generic model quality. The people who like it describe the same experience: the drafts are close enough that the reply becomes an edit rather than a composition, and the sorting means the first screen of the inbox is the part that matters. It also reports 100,000 teams using the product and names AT&T, Starbucks and SoundCloud as customers, which is more third-party validation than a young product usually carries.

It is cheaper for one person, by a wide margin. It has a shipped, mature product you can buy this afternoon. It publishes a security posture with named frameworks. And its notetaker covers all three major meeting platforms with recording, transcript and summary, which is a complete product on its own rather than a feature.

The criticisms worth taking seriously come from reviewers rather than from us, and they cluster in one place: the fixed category structure. Multiple published reviews report that mail is occasionally sorted into a folder the reader was not watching, that drafts still need real editing more often than the one-click framing suggests, and that the Outlook experience trails the Gmail one. We have not run a controlled test, so treat those as consistent reader reports rather than measurements, and weigh them against a product that plainly delights a lot of its users.

Where Fyxer and Officeagent actually differ

Who should buy Fyxer, and who should not

Buy it if the following describes you.

• You personally handle a high volume of email, on one mailbox, and the reading and sorting is the bottleneck rather than the work behind it.
• You want meeting notes across Zoom, Teams and Google Meet without buying a separate notetaker subscription.
• You are one to five people, because per-seat pricing is genuinely cheap at that size and flat-rate products are not.
• You are on Outlook or Microsoft 365 and have been eliminated by the Gmail-only tools, since Fyxer supports both mailboxes.
• You can commit to evaluating properly inside seven days, with a reminder set on day six.

Reasons to look elsewhere

And skip it if any of these are true, because the mismatch will not resolve with a higher tier.

• Your security policy requires single sign-on and you have fewer than 50 seats, since SSO is Enterprise-only and Enterprise starts at 50 users.
• Your CRM is Salesforce, Pipedrive or anything other than HubSpot, and CRM writeback matters to you.
• Your meetings routinely run past two hours, which is the documented per-meeting recording ceiling.
• Your real backlog is documents, filing, task tracking and follow-ups rather than reading email, in which case a better inbox will not shrink the pile.
