Plan names get the attention, but the credit rules decide the bill. Lindy's billing documentation spells them out, and none of the reviews ranking for this search put them together.
The whole team draws from one shared pool. Each seat adds its plan's allowance to the pool (3,000 credits on Plus, 15,000 on Pro, 35,000 on Max), and every Lindy your team uses spends from it. At zero, Lindy stops. The docs say Lindy pauses until your next billing cycle. What does the Lindy AI assistant do?
Lindy calls itself "The AI Teammate". In practice it covers five jobs. It drafts, schedules and replies to email without you leaving the inbox. It joins calls on Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, records them, transcribes them and files the notes. It manages scheduling and booking on your calendar. It runs routines on a timer, such as a morning brief or a weekly report. And it lives in Slack and iMessage, so you give it work the way you would message a colleague, in a DM or a team channel.
What sets it apart is range. Lindy connects to more than 1,000 tools and lets you build custom agents on top of the assistant, so a lead-routing flow, a recruiting screen or a CRM update can sit next to the inbox work. That is the real reason to buy Lindy over a narrower email tool: if your admin work sprawls across a long tail of apps, Lindy can probably reach all of them.
Email support leans Google first. The homepage talks about Gmail, while Outlook and Microsoft 365 are handled through a documented integration that covers sending, replying, drafts and calendar. Enterprise is quoted individually and adds single sign-on, audit logs, HIPAA compliance with a signed BAA, dedicated support, onboarding, and bonus credits on shared usage. Here is the arithmetic for a realistic small office. Five people on Plus is $149.95 a month for a 15,000-credit pool. Lindy does not publish a per-task rate card. Independent write-ups put simple tasks at about one credit and multi-step work on large models at ten or more, so treat those as rough scale, not a quote. On that rough scale, 15,000 credits covers plenty of light routines but far fewer heavy research or long-document runs. The only number that predicts your bill is your own: build one real routine, run it for a week, and read the usage under Settings, then Billing.

Lindy lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PIPEDA, states that data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and says customer data is never sold and never used to train models. HIPAA with a signed business associate agreement is an Enterprise feature, so a medical or dental office cannot get a BAA on Plus, Pro or Max.
The more useful commitment for everyday risk is behavioral. Lindy's documentation says "Write actions always wait for your approval, so nothing ships without you."
