How much does Prialto cost?

Prialto prices by the unit. One unit is 55 hours of support a month, and its current pricing table lists $1,600 per unit per month, which works out at about $29 an hour. A full-time dedicated assistant is three or more units (165 hours and up) and starts at $3,600 a month. Ten or more units is an enterprise program priced on a call.

On top of the monthly fee, the FAQ lists a 90-day minimum per unit and a $250 setup fee in the first month, waived if you sign a one-year agreement. Prialto also advertises discounts for annual contracting. So the smallest real commitment is three months of one unit, roughly $5,050 including setup.

One caution before you budget. The pricing table says $1,600, but the FAQ on the same page and its mobile layout still say pricing starts at $1,500, which is also the figure most reviews repeat. Is Prialto worth the money?

For the right buyer, yes. Two things set Prialto apart from cheaper offshore agencies. The first is the Engagement Manager, who documents your processes and coaches you on delegation, which is the step most people skip and the reason most assistant arrangements quietly fail. The second is built-in backup: other assistants already know your processes, so a sick day or a resignation does not reset you to zero.

Prialto is also generous on usage. It says it never turns off support or charges overage fees when a busy month runs past 55 hours, and each unit includes some free overflow time. If your month is lumpy, that matters more than the headline rate.

Where it is weaker value: the 90-day minimum and setup fee make it a poor way to test whether delegation works for you, and the work happens during business hours in US and UK time zones, 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. If much of the delegated time is routine written work, you are paying $29 an hour for tasks that follow the same pattern every week.

Prialto vs US assistant agencies like BELAY and Time etc

The honest comparison is on location and commitment. Prialto's assistants work offshore; Time etc and BELAY sell US-based assistants. That is why Prialto's hourly rate is lower. A 55-hour Prialto unit at $1,600 is about $29 an hour, while Time etc's sixty-hour plan is $2,160, or $36 an hour, and BELAY's own FAQ puts US virtual assistants at $1,200 to $3,000 a month.

The terms differ more than the rates. Time etc has no setup fee and no notice period. Prialto asks for 90 days per unit and charges $250 to start unless you sign for a year. In exchange you get something neither of the US agencies structures the same way: a named manager designing your processes and a trained backup bench.

If client-facing calls in a native US accent matter, pay the US premium. If the work is mostly behind the scenes and you value process and continuity, Prialto is the stronger managed option at a lower hourly rate.

Prialto charges per unit of human time. OfficeAgent charges a fixed monthly price per office, however many drafts it writes.

Who should hire Prialto

Prialto is a strong fit if most of these are true.

• You want a manager designing your processes and a trained backup, not a single freelancer you manage yourself.
• You are comfortable with an offshore assistant working US business hours, in exchange for a lower hourly rate than US agencies.
• You can commit to at least 90 days, or a year to have the setup fee waived.
• The work includes phone calls, travel, exceptions or sales support that needs judgment.

Reasons to look at software instead

A second Prialto unit will not fix any of these.
