Prialto Pricing: What a Prialto Unit Costs per Month, per Quarter and per Year

Prialto charges $1,600 a month per unit on its current pricing table, where one unit is 55 hours of a dedicated, managed assistant. That is about $29 an hour. Each unit carries a 90-day minimum and a $250 setup fee in the first month, and the setup fee is waived if you sign a one-year agreement. A full-time dedicated assistant, three units or more, starts at $3,600 a month. Programs of ten units or more are priced on a call.

So the smallest real commitment is one unit for one quarter: $5,050 including setup. Over a year, one unit on monthly terms comes to $19,200 plus setup. How much does Prialto cost per month?

Prialto publishes three tiers. The figures below are from its pricing page.

Notice the full-time price. Three single units at $1,600 would be $4,800, but the full-time tier starts at $3,600, or $1,200 a unit. If you are close to needing 165 hours, price the full-time tier before you stack fractional units one at a time. Prialto also advertises discounts for annual contracting on both of the first two tiers, without printing the size of the discount.

What is included in a Prialto unit?

A unit is more than 55 hours of someone's time. According to Prialto, each one includes:

• A dedicated assistant who has been through a month-long training program before working with clients, plus ongoing training.
• An Engagement Manager who designs your processes, troubleshoots problems and coaches you on what to delegate.
• Backup assistants who know your processes and can pick up the work when your main assistant is out.
• Free episodic overflow time for busy months.

Prialto is explicit that it does not charge overage. Its FAQ says it never turns off support or bills extra when a month runs long, and that if you consistently need more, you add a unit. For a buyer whose workload spikes around quarter-end or a big launch, that is worth real money, because an hourly agency would bill every extra minute.

Is there a setup fee or a minimum contract?

Yes to both. Prialto's FAQ lists a 90-day minimum per unit and a $250 setup fee in the first month. The setup fee is waived when you sign a one-year agreement. Onboarding for individuals and small teams typically starts within three to five days.

The minimum is the term that matters most to a first-time buyer. Most people who have never delegated underestimate how long it takes to hand work over properly. Prialto's answer is the Engagement Manager, whose job is to make that handover work, and the 90 days gives them time to do it. The cost of that approach is that you cannot try Prialto for one month and walk away.

Why do reviews say Prialto costs $1,500?

Because Prialto's own site still says so in places. The pricing table and the plan cards read $1,600 per unit. The FAQ on the same page, and the mobile layout of the unit table, still say pricing "starts at $1,500 per month". Almost every review and directory profile ranking for Prialto's name repeats the $1,500 figure, most likely copied from that FAQ.

We would budget at $1,600, since that is what the pricing table shows, and ask for the rate in writing on the consultation call. If you are offered $1,500, take it. If you are building a business case for a manager, the difference is $1,200 a year per unit, so it is worth settling before the numbers go into a spreadsheet.

What does Prialto cost for a quarter and a year?

Here is the math at the published table price. The yearly figures are before any annual discount, which Prialto offers but does not publish.

Treat the two-unit setup line as an estimate: the FAQ describes a $250 initial setup fee without saying whether it applies per unit, so ask. The effective hourly rate is about $29 for a fractional unit and about $22 at the full-time starting price, before any overflow time, which lowers the true rate further in busy months.

Prialto pricing compared with other assistant services

The main reason Prialto is cheaper per hour than the US agencies is location. Prialto is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and its careers page lists positions in Manila, Guatemala City and Nairobi, where its assistants work as Prialto staff. US agencies charge more because their assistants are in the US.

Is Prialto worth the price?

Prialto is worth it when you have a steady 55 hours a month of executive or sales support and you value continuity. The Engagement Manager and the backup bench are the parts you cannot easily get from a freelancer, and they are what stop an assistant arrangement from collapsing the first time someone quits or falls ill.

It is weaker value in three situations. If you are not sure you have 55 hours of work, the 90-day minimum means you pay for a quarter to find out. If a lot of your delegated work arrives in the evening or on weekends, Prialto's assistants work 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday in US and UK time zones. And if most of the hours go on routine written work, you are paying for a trained person to do something that follows the same pattern every week.

How to spend less on Prialto

Before the consultation call, log a week of the work you want to hand over and sort it into two columns. The first is work that needs a person: phone calls, travel changes, vendor negotiations, sales research, exceptions, anything new. The second is repeatable: routine replies, scheduling and rescheduling, filing attachments, updating a tracker, and chasing people who have not answered.

If the first column fills 55 hours on its own, buy the unit and use it well. If it fills 25, a full unit is too much person for the job, and the second column is what is pushing you over the line. Take that column off the assistant and you may need one unit instead of two, which saves $19,200 a year at table prices.

Expense work is a good example. Expense management is one of the tasks Prialto lists, and it is a fine use of an assistant when the receipts are messy and need judgment.
