Hiver costs $25 per user a month on the Growth plan, $55 on Pro and $85 on Elite, billed yearly. On monthly billing those become $35, $65 and $95. Every plan starts at two seats, and once a team grows past five, seats are sold in blocks of five. AI agents and AI Copilot are included on every plan, and voice is a $30 a seat add-on.
Those prices come from Hiver's own pricing pages for both of its products, Hiver Omni and Hiver in Gmail, which currently carry the same price list. Several comparison posts still quote Hiver at $19 or describe AI as a paid extra, which is no longer what Hiver sells. Below is what each plan includes, what a team of 2 to 25 actually pays in a year, the seat rule that makes some team sizes expensive, and how the bill compares with Front and with an AI office assistant.
How much does Hiver cost per user?
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Cost per user a year (yearly / monthly) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | $25 per user a month | $35 | $300 / $420 |
| Pro | $55 per user a month | $65 | $660 / $780 |
| Elite | $85 per user a month | $95 | $1,020 / $1,140 |
| Voice add-on | $30 per voice seat a month | $30 | $360, with 1,000 pooled minutes per seat each month |
The monthly premium is a flat $10 per user on every plan. That matters more on Growth, where it is 40 percent on top of the yearly price, than on Elite, where it is about 12 percent. A small team that is still testing should start monthly on Growth and switch to yearly once the seat count settles.
What is the minimum number of users for Hiver?
Two. Hiver's pricing FAQ says all plans start at two seats, can be increased up to five, and then grow in increments of five seats: 10, 15, 20 and so on. A one-person office therefore pays for two seats, at least $600 a year on Growth.
The block rule is the line item most buyers miss. A team of seven does not buy seven seats. It buys ten, so on Growth it pays $3,000 a year instead of $2,100, and $900 of that is for three empty seats. A team of eleven buys fifteen. If your headcount sits just above a multiple of five, either plan to grow into the extra seats or price the next plan down against the empty ones. Front, by comparison, bills each seat individually.
What does a Hiver team pay in a year?
| Seats billed | Growth, yearly | Pro, yearly | Elite, yearly | Growth, monthly billing for 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | $600 | $1,320 | $2,040 | $840 |
| 5 | $1,500 | $3,300 | $5,100 | $2,100 |
| 10 | $3,000 | $6,600 | $10,200 | $4,200 |
| 15 | $4,500 | $9,900 | $15,300 | $6,300 |
| 25 | $7,500 | $16,500 | $25,500 | $10,500 |
Add $360 a year for each person who takes calls if you buy Voice. Minutes are pooled across voice seats, and usage beyond the included 1,000 per seat is $0.03 a minute.
What is included in each Hiver plan?
Growth is a complete shared inbox. It covers assignment and ticketing for addresses like support@, rule-based automations, round robin assignment, pre-built analytics, basic integrations such as Slack, round-the-clock support, and the AI layer: AI agents that triage and resolve requests, AI Copilot for drafting and summarizing, and an AI knowledge builder. Hiver Omni's Growth plan also includes live chat and self-service; Hiver in Gmail's includes a help center.
Pro adds what a support manager reports on: SLAs, CSAT surveys, advanced analytics and custom dashboards, a customer portal, premium integrations with tools like Asana, Shopify and CRMs, and API access. Omni's Pro plan also manages customer conversations in Slack channels.
Elite adds AI QA scoring, skill-based routing, custom objects, rules that move mail from personal inboxes into shared ones, and the security items: single sign-on, HIPAA-compliant handling and custom roles. Note that Hiver's own plan comparison marks a few Elite items, including AI Insights and customer intelligence, as coming soon, so check that the feature you are paying Elite for is live today.
Is AI included in Hiver pricing?
Yes. AI agents and AI Copilot are included on every plan at no extra charge, including Growth. That is the biggest change from Hiver's older pricing, when AI was quoted separately, and the main difference from Front, which charges $20 a seat a month for Copilot on its Starter and Professional plans. AI QA is the one AI feature held back for Elite.
Hiver vs Front pricing
At the entry level the sticker is identical: Hiver Growth and Front Starter both cost $25 a seat a month on yearly billing. The gap opens as soon as you want AI or reporting. Our Front pricing breakdown has the full numbers, and here is the short version for a ten-person team on yearly billing.
| Setup for 10 people | Hiver | Front |
|---|---|---|
| Entry plan, no paid AI | Growth, $3,000 (AI included) | Starter, $3,000 (one channel type, no Copilot) |
| Entry plan with an AI reply assistant | Growth, $3,000 | Starter plus Copilot, $5,400 |
| Mid plan with SLAs and analytics plus AI | Pro, $6,600 | Professional plus Copilot, $10,200 |
| Single sign-on for the whole team | Elite only, $10,200 | Professional (with SCIM), $7,800 |
So Hiver is the cheaper way to get AI drafting into a shared inbox, while Front is the cheaper way to get single sign-on. Front lets you add or remove seats one at a time within a plan and runs as its own app across email, SMS and chat; Hiver in Gmail keeps your team inside the Gmail tab they already use, which is the reason most Google Workspace offices shortlist it.
Does Hiver have a free trial?
Hiver offers a 7-day free trial of the Elite plan, and you do not need a credit card to start it. When the trial ends the account is suspended unless you pick a plan, and you can reactivate it by upgrading within seven days. Because the trial runs on Elite, test the features you will actually buy on Growth or Pro, not the ones that only exist on the top tier. Hiver also offers discounted pricing for qualified nonprofits through its sales team, and it migrates data from another help desk at no extra cost.
Is Hiver worth it for a small office?
For a team that answers customers out of a shared address and lives in Gmail, Hiver is one of the best-value shared inboxes available, and including AI on every plan makes the Growth tier hard to beat at $25 a seat. If support@ is a real queue with response targets, buy it.
Many offices pricing Hiver are not running a support queue, though. They are three to ten people sharing info@ or office@, and the mail is meeting requests, invoices, documents to file and clients waiting on a reply. Ticketing and SLAs do little for that inbox, because the work behind each email still lands on a person. That is the job OfficeAgent does: it works inside Gmail or Outlook, drafts replies for your approval, books meetings from your real calendars, files attachments and chases follow-ups until each thread is closed. The Office plan covers up to ten teammates with a shared office inbox for $399 a month, or $199 a month billed yearly, which is $2,388 a year with no seat blocks to round up to. It does not do live chat, voice or SLA reporting, so if those are on your list, Hiver is the better buy. If your shared inbox is really an admin backlog, start with our AI email assistant for the office or the wider email management software guide.
Some teams find their billing@ inbox is the heaviest one of all, full of customer documents, account changes and invoice questions. If that work has outgrown a shared inbox, it may belong in a dedicated back-office customer operations workflow rather than another help desk seat.
How to buy Hiver without overpaying
- Count seats against the blocks before you pick a plan. Teams of six to nine pay for ten, teams of eleven to fourteen pay for fifteen.
- Start on Growth. AI agents and Copilot are already included, so Pro is only worth it once you need SLAs, CSAT, the customer portal or API access.
- Pay yearly after the first month. It saves $120 per user a year on every plan.
- Buy Voice only for the people who take calls. It is priced per voice seat, not per inbox user.
- Need single sign-on? That is Elite on Hiver and Professional on Front; price both.
- If the inbox is mostly scheduling and follow-ups, compare an AI office assistant plan before adding help desk seats.
