Sintra AI is a bundle of 12 chat-based AI "helpers" for marketing, sales, support and light admin, sold as one workspace plan, Sintra X, at $48.50 a month on the current sale ($97 regular) or $15.60 a month billed as $187.20 for a year. Every plan includes all 12 helpers and 250 credits a month shared by the whole workspace. It is a good buy for a solo owner who wants occasional help with social posts, copy and ideas. It is a poor buy for anyone who wants daily inbox, calendar and document work done, because the credit meter charges per email read and the helpers stop when the pool runs out.

That verdict comes from sintra.ai, its pricing page, its integrations page, its money-back guarantee page and its fair use policy, all read this week, plus the credit costs Sintra publishes in its help center. We sell an AI office assistant, so we have an interest here; the comparison at the end says where Sintra wins and where it does not, and the prices are the vendor's own.

What is Sintra AI, and what do the 12 helpers do?

Sintra is made by PlayOS, Inc. Each helper is a chat persona with a job title, a set of ready-made "use cases" (one-click tasks such as summarizing today's emails or generating a batch of images) and access to a shared memory Sintra calls Brain AI. You chat with the helper, or you set a use case to run on a schedule, and the output lands in the chat or in a connected app.

HelperRoleWhat it is actually for
SoshieSocial media managerWrites, schedules and publishes posts to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
PennCopywriterAd copy, blog posts, landing pages, advertorials
SeomiSEO specialistKeyword ideas, SEO-optimized articles, on-page fixes
EmmieEmail marketerCampaigns and win-back flows for a subscriber list
MilliSales managerCold call scripts, cold emails, pitches
CassieCustomer supportReplies to customer questions and social comments in your voice

CommeteCommerce managerStore setup, product launches, order and inventory questions
ScoutyRecruiterJob posts, screening questions, onboarding plans
VizzyVirtual assistantCalendar, meeting prep, daily email and calendar summaries, travel
GigiPersonal growth coachMeal plans, study schedules, workout routines

Nine of the twelve are marketing, sales or content roles. Only Vizzy and, at a stretch, Cassie and Dexter touch the admin side of a business. That ratio is the most useful thing to know about Sintra before you read any review, ours included: it is a marketing bundle with an assistant attached, not an office assistant with marketing attached.

How does Sintra AI work?

Setup is four steps on Sintra's own description: describe your business once (brand, tone, guidelines, documents, all stored in Brain AI), connect your tools, set rules and approval levels, and let the helpers run. There is no prompt engineering and no workflow builder, which is the point. A non-technical owner can be producing social posts inside an hour.

The integrations page lists roughly thirty named apps: Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Dropbox, Notion, Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Trello, Todoist, Google Tasks, Linear, GitHub, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and a few more. The pricing page says "15+ integrations" and the site navigation says "1000+ tools", so the honest number depends on whether you count a connector platform; for direct, one-click connections, plan on the thirty.

Two of those connections matter more than the rest. Gmail is described as read, reply and send, "without you lifting a finger", which means a helper can send mail from your address on its own once you have connected it. Google Calendar is read and create. If you want an assistant that reads your inbox and answers it, Sintra can technically do that, and the next section explains why the meter makes it the wrong tool for the job.

Is Sintra AI worth it?

It comes down to what 250 credits buy, because that is the real unit of purchase. Sintra publishes the cost of each action, which is to its credit. Chatting with a helper costs 0.1 to 1 credit per message. Saving to Brain AI costs 0.1. Scraping a website 0.5. Generating an image 0.5 to 1.8. A social post in chat 1. Retrieving an email 1. A scheduled task 1 to 20 or more per run. A 15-second UGC video about 40. Scheduling and publishing posts, answering guided questions and adding your own files to Brain AI are free. Our Sintra AI pricing breakdown has the full table and the term-by-term prices.

Run the arithmetic for the two ways people actually use it. A solo founder who asks Penn for four blog drafts, Soshie for twenty posts and Seomi for a keyword list each month spends perhaps 60 to 100 credits. Sintra is comfortably worth $15.60 a month for that person; the annual sale rate is about the price of one stock photo subscription. Now the office use. Vizzy reading 15 emails a working day costs about 330 credits in a 22-day month, more than the whole allowance, before it has drafted a single reply. A daily scheduled task at 8 credits uses 240. Anything that touches the inbox every day, or runs on a schedule, exhausts the pool, and when the pool hits zero the helpers stop until the monthly reset or until you buy a recurring, non-refundable top-up.

So: worth it for occasional marketing and content help at low volume, on the annual sale rate. Not worth it as a daily assistant, at any of its prices, because the meter is per email and per run.

Sintra AI pros and cons

What Sintra gets right. The price on the annual sale is very low for twelve working personas. Brain AI means you describe your business once rather than in every prompt. Published per-action credit costs are more transparent than most AI vendors manage. The 14-day money-back guarantee is real, if you ask for it. The helpers work in more than 100 languages. And the one-click use cases are genuinely useful for someone who does not want to learn to prompt.

What to go in knowing. The 250 credits are per workspace, not per user, so a three-person team shares one pool and cannot see who spent what. Credits do not roll over. The pricing page still shows an "Individual" tab with single helpers at $39 a month while the help center says solo helper plans are no longer offered, so read the checkout, not the tab. The sale labels ("Save 70%") do not say whether renewal bills at the sale rate or the regular $624, and the help center does not either. Cancelling does not refund; you have to contact support inside 14 days, and the guarantee page says it applies to paid subscriptions, not trial offers. Top-ups are sold as recurring plans that raise your renewal price until you remove them. And there is no approval step between a helper and your Gmail once the send permission is granted, so decide who gets that connection.

Is Sintra AI legit and safe?

Legit, yes: a registered US company, a published refund policy with a stated 3 to 5 business day processing time, and a support desk. Safe depends on what you put into it. Sintra's fair use policy prohibits processing sensitive personal data such as health information without a lawful basis, prohibits using the helpers to make automated decisions with significant effect in employment, healthcare, finance or legal contexts, and prohibits sending unsolicited or junk mail. Read those three clauses against how you planned to use Scouty (screening candidates), Cassie (a medical or legal client inbox) and Milli (cold email). They are not unusual terms, but they rule out some of the uses the marketing implies.

On attestations, we could not find a SOC 2, HIPAA or GDPR claim anywhere on sintra.ai, and the site's security page returns a 404 as of this week. The money-back page says data is "encrypted and protected". If your clients ask every tool that reads email for an audited report, ask Sintra for one before connecting a work inbox; email assistants such as Serif publish a SOC 2 Type 2 and Jace a Type 1, and a bundle at this price may simply not have gone through the audit.

Who should buy Sintra AI, and who should not

Buy it if you are a solo owner, creator or very small team whose real gap is marketing output: posts, captions, emails to a list, a blog draft a week, a job ad now and then. At $187.20 for a year it is a small bet, and the 14-day guarantee covers the first fortnight if you actually run your workload and read the credit counter daily.

Look elsewhere in three cases. First, if one job matters at volume, a specialist tool beats a persona sharing 250 credits with eleven others. If paid ads are the real job, a dedicated AI ad generator that turns a product URL into finished ad copy and on-brand images will outrun Penn on both speed and allowance. Second, if several people will share the workspace, remember they share one pool with no visibility into who spent it. Third, if what you actually want is the daily admin handled, the inbox answered, meetings booked, documents filed, follow-ups chased, the per-email meter is the wrong instrument for that job.

That third case is what we build, so here is the pitch and you can weigh it. Officeagent costs $149 a month for one person or $399 for an office of up to ten, about 20 percent less billed yearly. Instead of credits, each plan includes 300 or 2,000 agent actions a month, and an action is counted only when you approve a finished piece of work: an email sent, a meeting booked, a document filed, a spreadsheet row entered. Reading the inbox, drafting and redrafting cost nothing, there is no overage invoice, and nothing goes out without a person clicking approve. It is far more expensive than Sintra's sale rate and it does not write your Instagram captions. For a business whose bottleneck is the office rather than the marketing, that is the trade. The AI personal assistant for business page shows what a working week looks like, and the pricing page has the plan list.

Sintra AI alternatives

The right alternative depends on which of Sintra's twelve jobs you were actually buying.

  • For a team that will build its own automations, Lindy connects to more than 1,000 tools and meters usage in a shared credit pool: Plus is $29.99 per user per month with 3,000 credits, top-ups at $10 per 1,000. It gives a single user far more credits than Sintra but expects someone to design the workflows. Our Lindy AI review covers the credit rules.
  • For a general assistant with a chat window and no personas, ChatGPT Business at $25 a seat monthly (2-seat minimum) or Claude Team at $25 a seat give you a stronger model and more usage than any Sintra helper, with none of the ready-made use cases. Both are priced on the best AI assistant for small business roundup.
  • For email specifically, a dedicated assistant such as Fyxer, Jace or Serif drafts replies in your voice for $20 to $50 a month and does not meter per email read; the AI email assistant comparison prices them side by side.
  • For the office admin itself, Officeagent, at a flat price per office with approval on every send.

Questions to ask Sintra before you buy

  • Does my plan renew at the sale price or at the regular $97, $177 or $624?
  • Is the "Individual" $39 helper plan on the pricing page still purchasable, or only Sintra X?
  • How many credits does the scheduled task I care about use per run, and how many runs a month is that?
  • If three of us share the workspace, can any of us see who used the credits?
  • Can I require approval before a helper sends from my Gmail, or is the permission all or nothing?
  • Do you have a SOC 2 report or a signed BAA available for a regulated client inbox?

Get the renewal answer in writing before an annual purchase. On the 12-month term it is the difference between $187.20 and $624 in year two, which is more than every other question on the list combined.
