Cal.com Pricing and Cal.com vs Calendly Cost per Seat
Every Cal.com plan in US dollars, yearly and monthly, what the AI phone agent really costs in minutes, what a team of 5 to 50 pays, and where Calendly is the cheaper buy.
In one answer
Cal.com pricing starts with a free plan for one user with unlimited event types. Teams costs $12 per user a month billed yearly and Organizations costs $28, while Cal.com's own blog lists $15 and $37 on monthly billing. Enterprise is quoted on annual contracts. Against Calendly, Cal.com is $4 a seat cheaper on the team plan, but Calendly's Enterprise floor is lower at exactly 50 seats.

How much does Cal.com cost per user
Cal.com charges per user, and a user is a host: someone whose calendar is connected and who takes bookings. The people booking time with you never need an account. So the bill is hosts multiplied by the plan price, and the only real choices are the plan and the billing term.
On yearly billing, Teams is $12 per user a month and Organizations is $28. Those are the only figures printed on cal.com/pricing, which shows the yearly rate with a "Save 25%" badge and no monthly toggle. Cal.com's own blog gives the month-to-month rates as $15 for Teams and $37 for Organizations. Do the arithmetic and the real saving is 20 percent on Teams and about 24 percent on Organizations, a little under what the badge says, which is why third-party guides quote anywhere from $12 to $15 for the same plan.
One host on Teams therefore pays $144 a year on annual terms or $180 paying monthly. Enterprise has no public price, is sold on annual contracts only, and is a sales conversation rather than a plan you pick.

What each Cal.com plan includes
Free is more generous than most scheduling tools at $0. One user gets unlimited event types and connected calendars, email and SMS notifications, more than 100 app integrations, the mobile app and browser extension, Stripe and PayPal payments at booking, and two-way Salesforce and HubSpot sync. There is also a one-click import of existing Calendly event types. For a solo consultant this is often the whole answer.
Teams is for more than one host sharing the work. It adds round robin and collective events, managed event types an admin controls, recurring events, routing forms that send a lead to the right person, booking analytics, custom notifications and the option to remove Cal.com branding. It comes with a 14-day free trial.
Organizations is the company-wide plan. It adds unlimited sub-teams, routing based on attributes such as region or product line, a company subdomain, SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning, role-based permissions and the compliance paperwork: SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001. A US clinic or a practice handling patient details is usually pushed onto this plan by the HIPAA line alone.
Enterprise adds SLA guarantees, HRIS integrations, priority Slack support and a dedicated database, on an annual contract with a quoted price.
How much does Cal.ai cost
Cal.ai is Cal.com's AI phone agent, which answers and places calls to book, confirm and reschedule appointments. It is billed in credits: 29 credits a minute, which Cal.com prices at $0.29 a minute. Teams includes 750 credits per member a month and Organizations includes 1,000, while the Free plan includes none and buys credits outright.
Turn the allowance into minutes and it is small. 750 credits cover about 25 minutes of calls per member a month, and 1,000 cover about 34. A front desk that lets Cal.ai handle 40 three-minute booking calls a week runs roughly 520 minutes a month, which is about $145 a month in usage on top of the seats once one member's 25 included minutes are used. Pool sizes and overage rules belong on the order form before you switch the phone line over.
Cal.com vs Calendly pricing
Plan for plan, Cal.com is the cheaper sticker. Its free plan allows unlimited event types where Calendly Free allows one, and its team plan is $12 a seat yearly against $16 for Calendly Teams. Calendly also sells Standard at $10 for individual hosts, which has no direct Cal.com equivalent because Cal.com puts those features in Free.
The comparison turns on two things. First, AI. Calendly's Plus tiers, $18 and $24 a seat yearly, bundle a meeting notetaker and Callie, an assistant you copy onto an email thread to schedule. Cal.com's AI is the Cal.ai phone agent, billed by the minute. If your bookings come by phone, Cal.com fits; if they come by email, Calendly's bundle is closer. Our Calendly pricing breakdown has every Calendly figure.
Second, scale. At exactly 50 hosts, Calendly Enterprise starts at $15,000 a year, while 50 users on Cal.com Organizations cost $16,800 a year on annual billing. So the cheaper-per-seat tool is not cheaper for a 50-person company that needs single sign-on. The crossover sits at about 45 hosts: above it, Calendly's $15,000 floor, which covers 50 seats, costs less than Cal.com Organizations at $336 a host a year. Below it, Cal.com wins.
- Choose Cal.com for HIPAA paperwork on a self-serve plan, open source code you can self-host, and the lowest per-seat price for round robin teams.
- Choose Calendly for the larger integration marketplace, the email scheduling assistant in the Plus tiers, and a cheaper Enterprise contract at 50 seats and up.
- Choose neither when meetings start in email threads with people who will not click a booking link, which is where an AI office assistant fits.
Can I self host Cal.com
Yes. Cal.com's code is open source and the company documents self-hosting, which is why it shows up on shortlists for teams with strict data residency rules. Self-hosted is free of license fees, but it is not free. You pay for the server and database it runs on, and for the engineering time to deploy updates, patch security issues and keep calendar connections working when Google or Microsoft change their APIs.
For a five-person office without an in-house developer, the hosted Teams plan at $720 a year is almost always cheaper than one afternoon a month of contractor time. Self-hosting earns its keep for a company that already runs its own infrastructure and has a compliance reason to keep booking data on it.
Is Cal.com worth paying for
For inbound booking, yes, and it is one of the best-value tools in the category. A team that shares leads through round robin and routing forms gets everything it needs on Teams at $12 a seat, and the free plan is strong enough that many solo users never upgrade.
Booking links only solve the meetings that come to you. The harder ones start as an email from a client, a board member or a candidate who has already proposed three times and will not click a link. Those threads also come with work after the meeting: a recap, the documents to file, the follow-up that has to be chased. A scheduling tool does none of that.
That is the gap OfficeAgent fills. It reads the thread in Gmail or Outlook, proposes times from your real calendar, books the meeting once you approve, then writes the recap and chases the follow-ups until the thread closes. It costs $149 a month for one person ($888 a year) or $399 a month for an office of up to ten people ($2,388 a year). It does not replace a booking page for inbound leads, and for that job Cal.com or Calendly is the right purchase. It is the right one when scheduling is one of several admin jobs eating someone's day. See how it works on the AI meeting scheduling page, or compare the field in the best AI scheduling assistant roundup.
