How much does Akiflow cost per month
Akiflow sells one plan, called Pro, and the only choice is how long you commit. Pro costs $34 a month billed monthly or $19 a month billed yearly, which Akiflow charges as $228 once a year. The yearly price is labeled as a promotion on the pricing page, so it can change for new buyers, but it is the price at checkout today.
The 44 percent saving Akiflow advertises is accurate. Twelve months at $34 is $408, and $228 is 55.9 percent of that. Unlike several vendors in this category, the printed discount and the arithmetic agree.
Longer commitments are sold as Believer options. Two years cost $357.60, which works out to $14.90 a month, and five years cost $699, about $11.65 a month. These are the same Pro product on a longer prepaid term, not a different feature set. Akiflow also notes that it may apply local purchasing-power pricing in some countries, so a US buyer should expect the list prices above.
Most pricing summaries you will find quote older numbers: $15 a month, $24.99 monthly, or $14.99 billed yearly. Those were real prices at earlier points. They are not the prices on Akiflow's page now.

What Akiflow Pro includes and what costs extra
Pro is the whole product. It combines a task inbox, subtasks, recurring tasks and labels with a calendar that syncs both ways with Google Calendar and Outlook, so you can drag tasks into time blocks and share your availability. Integrations pull tasks in from the tools you already use, Zapier and IFTTT cover the rest, and there are desktop and mobile apps. Pro also includes Aki, Akiflow's AI assistant, the hosted Akiflow MCP Connector for AI clients, productivity analytics and a free one-to-one onboarding call.
The one paid extra is the AI Meeting Assistant, at $19 a month on top of Pro. It records meetings and produces transcripts, summaries and action items. Akiflow's terms tie add-ons to the main subscription: cancel Pro and the add-on ends with it. A person on yearly Pro who adds the meeting assistant pays $228 for Pro plus $19 a month, which brings the effective monthly cost to $38.
Akiflow's pricing page does not show a credit allowance or usage meter for Aki. Motion does meter its AI, with 7,500 credits per seat a month on Pro AI and paid overage beyond that, which is one practical difference between the two at the same headline price.
Does Akiflow have a free plan or free trial
No free plan. Akiflow offers a 7-day trial with full access, and it asks for a card at signup. The subscription you picked starts when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Seven days is short for a planning tool, because the habit only forms once you have run a few weekly reviews, so plan the trial for a normal week rather than a holiday week.
The refund terms are the part to read before you enter a card. Akiflow's terms of service say purchases are non-refundable and that canceling gives no refund for unused time, including prepaid yearly and multi-year terms. The EU and UK cooling-off rights apply to consumers there, but a US business buyer should treat the yearly $228, the two-year $357.60 and the five-year $699 as sunk the moment they are charged.
That changes the right way to buy. Start monthly at $34, run it for a month or two past the trial, and switch to yearly once you are sure. The extra $15 or so you pay for one month of flexibility is cheaper than a year you cannot get back.
Akiflow team pricing and the student discount
Akiflow does not publish a self-serve team rate. Its pricing FAQ says team pricing is handled directly by its sales team. For budgeting, the list Pro price per person is the ceiling: five people on yearly Pro would be $1,140 a year at list, ten would be $2,280. A quote may come in below that, and it is worth asking, because Motion and Sunsama both publish team prices you can hold up against it.
Students and researchers get 40 percent off Pro Yearly for life after verifying an academic email, which is $136.80 a year. The discount can also apply to the Believer terms; Akiflow handles it through its support address.
Akiflow vs Motion pricing
This is the comparison most Akiflow buyers run, and the headline numbers are closer than they look. Motion Pro AI for teams costs $19 per seat a month billed yearly, the same as Akiflow's $19. On monthly billing Motion's team seat is $29 against Akiflow's $34. Motion Business AI is $29 yearly and $49 monthly.
The catch on Motion's side is that a person buying alone pays the individual rate, not the team rate: $29 a month yearly or $49 monthly for Pro AI, and $39 or $69 for Business AI. So for one person, Akiflow is cheaper ($228 against $348 a year on yearly billing). For a team of five that buys Motion's team plan, the two cost the same on yearly billing, $1,140, and Motion is cheaper monthly, $1,740 against $2,040.
Motion also meters AI credits, 7,500 per seat a month on Pro AI and 15,000 on Business AI, with overage at 25 cents and 19 cents per 100 credits. Our Motion pricing breakdown works through when that meter matters.
The products differ in a way that should decide this before price does. Akiflow is a planner you drive: you collect tasks, pick what goes into today and drag it onto the calendar. Motion schedules the tasks for you and rebuilds the day when something moves, and it adds projects and docs. People who want control tend to stay on Akiflow. People who want the decision made for them tend to like Motion. Our Motion alternative comparison covers where Motion fits and where it does not.
- Choose Akiflow when you want to plan your own day from one task inbox, you are buying for one person, and you want the AI assistant without a credit meter on the pricing page.
- Choose Motion when you want tasks scheduled for you automatically and you are buying a team plan, where its monthly seat is cheaper than Akiflow's.
- Choose Sunsama when you want a guided daily planning ritual at the lowest list price of the three, $17 a month yearly.
Is Akiflow worth $34 a month
For a founder or executive who lives across email, Slack, a project tool and a full calendar, and who loses track of what was promised where, yes. At $19 a month on yearly billing it costs less than an hour of most professionals' time each month, and the value is real if you keep the daily planning habit. If you stop opening it, it is $228 you will not see again, so the monthly start matters.
It is the wrong purchase when the hours do not go to planning. Akiflow organizes the work; it does not do it. It will not answer the client who emailed three possible times, write the recap after the call, file the signed contract or chase the person who has not replied. In a small office those jobs are usually most of the week.
That is the work OfficeAgent does. It reads the thread in Gmail or Outlook, proposes times from your real calendar, books the meeting once you approve, writes the recap and follows up until the thread closes. It costs $149 a month for one person ($888 a year) or $399 a month for an office of up to ten people ($2,388 a year). Per person that is more than Akiflow, and it is a different purchase: a planner tells you what to do next, an assistant does the email and scheduling part for you. If you want the side-by-side on planners first, our Reclaim AI pricing guide covers the cheapest calendar tool in the group, and Sunsama pricing covers the third planner most buyers shortlist.

Questions on this
How much does Akiflow cost?
Akiflow costs $34 a month on its Pro plan billed monthly, or $19 a month billed yearly, which is $228 charged once a year. Two-year and five-year Believer terms cost $357.60 and $699. The AI Meeting Assistant is an optional $19 a month on top. There is only one plan, so every buyer gets the same features.
Is there a free version of Akiflow?
No. Akiflow has no free plan. New customers get a 7-day trial with full access, a card is required at signup, and the subscription starts when the trial ends unless it is canceled first. University students and researchers can get 40 percent off the yearly plan after verifying an academic email.
Is Akiflow worth the price?
Akiflow is worth it for professionals who juggle tasks across several apps and keep a daily planning habit, since $19 a month yearly is less than an hour of most people's time. It is not worth it if the hours go to email, scheduling back-and-forth and follow-ups, which a planner organizes but does not do.
Does Akiflow give refunds?
Akiflow's terms of service say purchases are non-refundable and that canceling a subscription gives no refund for unused time or prepayments. Consumers in the EU and UK keep a statutory 14-day withdrawal right. A US buyer should start on monthly billing and switch to yearly only once sure.
Is Akiflow cheaper than Motion?
For one person, yes: Akiflow is $228 a year on yearly billing and Motion's individual Pro AI plan is $348. For teams, Motion's Pro AI seat is $19 a month yearly, the same as Akiflow, and $29 monthly against Akiflow's $34, so Motion is cheaper for a team paying monthly.
Akiflow vs Motion, which is better?
Akiflow is better if you want to plan your own day: you pull tasks into one inbox and drag them onto the calendar yourself. Motion is better if you want the scheduling done for you, because it places tasks automatically and reshuffles the day, and it adds projects and docs. Motion meters AI credits; Akiflow's pricing page shows no meter.
Does Akiflow have team pricing?
Akiflow handles team pricing through its sales team and does not publish a self-serve per-seat team rate. Budget at the Pro list price of $19 per person a month yearly as a ceiling, which is $1,140 a year for five people and $2,280 for ten, and ask for a quote below it.
What is the Akiflow Believer plan?
Believer is Akiflow's name for a longer prepaid Pro commitment. Two years cost $357.60, about $14.90 a month, and five years cost $699, about $11.65 a month. It is the same Pro product, not a separate tier, and under Akiflow's terms the prepayment is non-refundable if you cancel.
